Read and discuss books for tweens, about tweens! Tweens and an adult mentor (parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle, family friend, etc.) explore stories of tweenhood together. Talk about the book, try hands-on activities, and make new friends along the way.
Our April 2026 program features Wonderstruck by Brian Selznick. A New York Times bestseller and award winning book, Wonderstruck tells the tale of two children, Ben and Rose, living 50 years apart but both searching for information about someone important to them, and both drawn to the American Museum of Natural History in New York City. Ben's story is told through words, while Rose's story is told through pictures, and their quests intertwine in surprising and wonderful ways.
