DESCRIPTION:This presentation will focus on the discussion of online sites
  for researching Military Records. We believe attendees will be impressed 
 with the number of sites that are available online for doing military rese
 arch. We will not only discuss obvious sites such as Fold3 and the Nationa
 l Archives. However, we will explore many sites that are no so well known;
  but which contain a wealth of information. We will also discuss ways of i
 dentifying those of your ancestors who likely served in the various wars, 
 dating back to the Revolutionary War. For those of you who might have an i
 nterest in learning if you can qualify for membership in the Daughters of 
 the American Revolution (DAR) or Sons of the American Revolutions (SAR), w
 e will touch upon that subject, as well.The initial part of the presentati
 on will be a PowerPoint discussion of the various sites and then in the la
 tter part of the program, we will provide a live demonstration of how to s

 resenter ProfileDel began researching his family history in 1994. He serve
 d in leadership positions in several San Diego genealogy organizations; in
 cluding President, Computer Genealogy Society of San Diego and Program Dir
 ector, San Diego Genealogical Society. He was Chair of The Working Group f
 or soliciting Sponsors, Exhibitors and Advertisers for the June 2019 Inter
 national German Genealogy Partnership Conference held in Sacramento.He is 
 an instructor for the Larimer County Genealogical Society and is Secretary
  of the Longs Peak Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution. Del has
  given over 120 genealogy presentations to numerous groups in the Southern
  California and Northern Colorado areas in the past nine years. He publish
 ed, “Breathing Life Into My Family Ancestors” in late 2011 and publish
 ed his second book “Ordinary People Who Accomplished the Extraordinary�
 �Our Immigrant Ancestors and Their Descendants” in November 2019.
