Artist Reception: When Is Home, A Photography Exhibit by Dania Zhuravleva Gaisina

Please join us for an opening reception celebrating the June/July exhibit in the Old Town Art Gallery: When Is Home, a photography exhibit by artist Dania Zhuravleva. This special photo exhibition explores the personal journeys of immigrants searching for the meaning of “home." Dania was inspired to create this collection of portraits by her own immigration journey from Siberia to Colorado, and invites viewers to consider how people connect to new places and when they begin to feel at home. Dania will share about the inspiration behind the exhibit and about her journey as an artist. Stop by between 5:30pm and 6:30pm for snacks and drinks and to meet Dania and get to know the stories and experiences of "home" that have shaped her work!
