Join us for a screening of the documentary Banned Together. This film follows three students and their adult allies as they fight to reinstate 97 books suddenly pulled from their school libraries. As they evolve from local to national activists – meeting with authors, politicians, Constitutional experts, and more – the film reveals the forces behind the accelerating wave of book bans in the U.S.
The screening will be followed by a Q & A session. Library staff will be there to answer your questions and discuss how Poudre Libraries is handling these issues in our community.
Doors will open at 6:15 with last entry at 6:45.
