Program Description

Event Details

This book club focuses on stories of boyhood in children's literature and is designed for tweens in grades 4-6 and an adult, male-identifying mentor (dad, grandpa, uncle, family friend). This book club provides the opportunity to bond with an adult mentor while also making new friends, discussing the book, and trying hands-on activities.

We welcome all boys, boy-identifying individuals, and non-binary and gender non-conforming people who are comfortable in a space that centers the experiences of boys.

Register once, as a pair. The pair can then pick up their very own free copy of A Nest for Celeste by Henry Cole at Council Tree Library.

The free event includes pizza and hands-on activities.

Registration is limited and starts June 1. After registering, your book will be available to pick up at Council Tree Library under the adult's name so just ask staff to retrieve it.

Additional Information

Registration required. After registering, check your email for instructions to claim your copy of the book.
