Come As You Are!

Do you love poetry, sound art, and open mics? Come participate in and enjoy Come As You Are, a short performance by Opposite of Blink, combined with a poetry open mic featuring Lorrie Wolfe and members of the Columbine Poets of Colorado, followed by a community poets’ open mic.

Opposite of Blink is the performance poetry duo of Mark J. Rosoff and Tim Van Schmidt, mixing original word art with wild sounds on all kinds of instruments. Their first album, 2025=9, premiered in September, 2025.

Lorrie Wolfe is an award-winning poet, editor, and community organizer, widely recognized for sharing daily poetry events across Colorado. Winner of the Fledge Chapbook Award for The Language of Crows and a two-time Pushcart Prize nominee, she also leads as President of the northern chapter of Columbine Poets of Colorado and serves on the Loveland Poet Laureate Program’s Board of Directors.

Columbine Poets of Colorado is a state poetry society in Colorado and is affiliated with the National Federation of State Poetry Societies. The Northern Chapter serves primarily Larimer, Weld, and Boulder Counties and is open to members statewide.
