Event Details
What is conservation agriculture and how is it used to grow delicious local food? In this program, we will take a closer look at what’s happening at Kestrel Fields and learn about the unique partnerships that brings the principles of Conservation Agriculture to your local natural area. We'll also learn about the native seed farm at Kestrel Fields, and how native seeds benefit the community.
This program takes place outside and includes walking on dirt roads and uneven ground. Please wear appropriate footwear and consider bringing sunscreen, a water bottle, a hat, and layers in case of weather changes.
