Event Details

Join FRCC and Poudre Libraries to drink tea and hear from FRCC teachers about their areas of interest and expertise.

In November, Philosophy & Religious Studies Professor Dr. Jordan Hill will present an introduction to the philosophy and practice of mindfulness with a particular focus on practicing in times of social unrest, division, and upheaval. This workshop will include a short introductory talk by Jordan, followed by a few different mindfulness practices, with suggested adjustments for different abilities. We will wrap up with a group Q & A about your experience of the mindfulness practices.

Teas from Happy Lucky's Teahouse. Snacks provided.
