Program Description

Event Details

Due to low registration, this event has been canceled. There is another one in August for anyone looking.

The Fort Collins Safe Zone Collective is a community-led group with the goal of reducing barriers and bias toward the LGBTQIA+ community through providing accessible education and training to Northern Colorado. Fort Collins Safe Zone training aims to increase knowledge of resources available to LGBTQIA+ people and their support systems, and to create a network of action-oriented allies and advocates across Northern Colorado.

Sessions are held every 3rd Saturday of the month at the Poudre Library's Old Town branch. These are a great fit for anyone who is interested in growing their skills and knowledge to support the LGBTQIA+ community, particularly those who are parents/family members, community leaders, and/or working in education or helping professions.
