Program Description

Event Details

In honor of Earth Day this month, let's do some mending and extend the life of our clothes! Find some pants, a shirt, a bag. etc. that has a hole you would like to patch, and bring it with you to the library. We will provide supplies and instruction of how to mend it using Sashiko, a decorative Japanese technique.

Program aimed for adults and 12+. This is a beginning class and no prior knowledge/skills are required, but this technique does involve sharp needles, so be aware of that.
