Join us outdoors in the Pollinator Garden for a hands-on citizen science adventure! In this interactive class, you'll learn how to use technology to observe and document wildlife, plants, and pollinators while contributing valuable data to real-world research projects. We’ll explore apps like iNaturalist and Seek, which help you identify species and share your findings with scientists around the globe. Whether you're passionate about nature or just curious, this class will teach you how to become a citizen scientist and make a difference in your community through the power of technology!
Additional Information
This program takes place at The Nectary, the library's pollinator garden in the south lot of Webster House Administrative Center (301 E. Olive St.). Street parking is available at Old Town Library (201 Peterson St.) or along Mathews Street. Restrooms are not available at The Nectary but are available at Old Town Library.
Registration is required. Register on this website, in person at any library, or by calling our Answer Center at 970-221-6740.
This program takes place outdoors. In the event of inclement weather, the program will be canceled.
