Event Details
Join Dr. Margaret Eagan, a board-certified endocrinologist and lifestyle medicine practitioner, for an engaging discussion on bone health, osteopenia, and osteoporosis. In this session, Dr. Eagen will cover what osteopenia and osteoporosis are and how they are diagnosed, key lifestyle changes that can help prevent bone loss and support stronger bones, an overview of medical treatments available to prevent fractures and slow disease progression, and how to monitor bone health over time and when follow-up testing is needed.
The session will conclude with an interactive Q&A, where participants can submit questions anonymously in advance or ask them live. Submit questions in advance to lynda.mccullough@uchealth.org.
