Program Description

Event Details

Engage with nature to explore, sketch, paint, write and have fun in the outdoors. Fort Collins Nature Journal Group will meet at the Nectary Pollinator & Sensory garden to facilitate this program. The group is based on the work of naturalist John Muir Laws and the many nature journal clubs around the world. 

Bring:

Sketchbook or paper

Art supplies: A pencil or pen is fine for getting started. You may also want to bring colored pencils, watercolor paints, etc.

Water

Sunscreen

Binoculars or hand lens (optional)

Wear:

Hat, sunglasses

Additional Information

This program takes place at The Nectary, the library's pollinator garden in the south lot of Webster House Administrative Center (301 E. Olive St.). Street parking is available at Old Town Library (201 Peterson St.) or along Mathews Street. Restrooms are not available at The Nectary but are available at Old Town Library.
