Part 3: Nature Lovers Adventure Series
Ready to discover what makes the city's Natural Areas so special? Meet outside at the beautiful Sugar Beet Park to learn about the City’s efforts to increase wildlife habitat and make nature more accessible to the entire community through small urban projects. In this presentation, Natural Areas staff will discuss the different aspects of the Nature in the City program, talk about why pollinators are so important, and identify the types of plants we can use to attract them.
This presentation includes a short exploration of the natural area on paved sidewalks, accessible by foot and wheelchair. Library staff will be on site to help you dive deeper into your natural interests.
Additional Information
This program takes place outdoors. In the event of inclement weather, the program will be canceled.
