Event Details

Learn about how the City tracks the health of our home river: the Cache la Poudre. Get your hands dirty and your feet wet with a team of City river specialists. We will collect river data and talk about the Poudre River Health Report. All ages and abilities are encouraged.

Parking: Please park on the west end of Hickory St, at the Soft Gold Park parking lot. From there, we will walk over to McMurry Natural Area. 

We will be walking on dirt paths with rocks and possible mud. Please wear boots or footwear you can get wet. We will not be providing footwear. 

Consider bringing the following for your comfort: Water bottle, sunscreen, bug spray, and hat. 

Weather cancellation is a possibility. We will alert you via email if the event is cancelled due to weather.
