In this session of the Restorative Reading Series, Sue Mateer and April Stutters will lead participants through an interactive read-aloud of the book Cassidy's Present followed by fun, creative exercises designed to deepen the lessons found in the book.

With a PhD in Education from Colorado State University, Sue has extensive experience in restorative practices, mental health advocacy, and working with young people. A passionate advocate for mindfulness, she incorporates meditative practices into her training and lectures to promote resilience and well-being. April Stutters is a clinical child and adolescent therapist specializing in grief, trauma, and stress reduction. April developed and wrote the Resources section of Cassidy’s Present. 

This program is designed for school aged children and accompanying adults.  Please register child and adult separately.
