Put on your archaeologist hat and dig into a mystery from the past! In this hands-on program, kids will investigate the “burial site” of an unknown, ancient civilization using logic, close observation, and critical thinking skills to uncover clues about who these people might have been. Participants will experience an exciting introduction to archaeology while encouraging teamwork and problem-solving as they piece together the story hidden beneath the surface.
Bonus! This program includes an activity from Summer Adventure: Discover a fact or myth about local history. Earn 3 points just for attending the program, plus an extra point for completing the activity! Learn more about Summer Adventure and sign up for the challenge at poudrelibraries.org/summer.
