Program Description

Event Details

Join us at Old Town Library along with The Northern Colorado Astronomical Society for some space science fun to celebrate the summer solstice! This special event is all about safe solar observation. The NCAS will be here with solar telescopes that will safely provide an up-close view of the sun in all its radiance. With these special telescopes we'll be able to see sunspots, flares, and other parts of our brightest star. NCAS members are ready for questions and love sharing solar science facts. This event is open to all ages but younger children must be supervised while using the telescopes and to ensure the sun is viewed safely. No registration required- please stop by any time between 11am and 1pm.

Additional Information
