Fort Collins Book Fest - Toda lengua mi verso: Write in the language of your heart

Join poet and Spanish Interpreter Ally Eden for a 90-minute Bilingual poetry workshop that invites you to write from your heart using inquiry, adoration, and distillation.  We’ll engage in writing exercises that help us move beyond tropes of love and/or self-love and extract only the essetial. Before we close, each poet will have the opportunity to turn their piece into a short-form zine (just in time for Valentine’s Day!). Join us early for a light dinner courtesy of the library.

Acompáñanos a un taller de poesía bilingüe de 90 minutos con la poeta e intérprete de español Ally Eden, donde te invitamos a escribir desde el corazón utilizando la indagación, la adoración y la destilación. Ya sea en inglés o español, realizarás ejercicios de escritura que te ayudan a ir más allá de los clichés del amor y/o el amor propio, y extraer solo lo esencial. Al final, cada poeta tendrá la oportunidad de crear un fanzine de formato corto (¡justo a tiempo para el Día de San Valentín!). Cena ligera cortesía de la biblioteca.
