Program Description

Event Details

Fake news, misinformation, and doomscrolling – does keeping up with the news feel overwhelming? Gain some perspective and ideas for strengthening your media literacy skills at a Trusted Sources documentary screening and media panel.

Trusted Sources is a documentary by an Erie-based filmmaker about local media. The screening will be followed by a moderated panel with the filmmaker, local journalists, journalism educators, and stakeholders in media to discuss trust in local journalism and media literacy in Northern Colorado.

There is an option to attend online through Zoom. Register for details.

Light dinner provided.

This event is co-hosted by Women in Film and Media Colorado, Front Range Community College, and Poudre Libraires.
