Program Description

Event Details

3-part workshop series presented by Stan James on Wednesdays November 6, 13, 20, 6:00pm-7:45pm.

Learn to use pen and paper for all they're worth. It's a myth that you need expensive tools to make beautiful letters. We'll learn how to do it even with a ball-point or felt-tip pen. We'll also dabble a little bit with more exotic pens.

We'll learn exercises for improving handwriting and drawing and for creative lettering. Then we'll move on to learn some alphabets that are easy to be creative with. As projects, we'll create some greeting cards and postcards for you to share!

Basic pens will be provided, but feel free to bring any of your favorites.
(Registration limited due to space!) See samples of Stan's work on Instagram @wanderingstan and his alphabets post that made the front page of Reddit.
