CSU's SpeakOut! program is hosting a drop-in writing workshop to foster community connection and spark creativity and empowered self-expression here at the library! This workshop is open to anyone who would like to create and share stories, experiences, and ideas through writing. Poems, lifestories, drama, storytelling, and lyrics are some forms writing might take- all kinds of writing are welcome and encouraged and no experience or writing background is necessary! 

This workshop will be held in the open "Treehouse" area on Old Town Library's second floor every Thursday morning at 11am and is facilitated by Tobi Jacobi and Mary Ellen Sanger as part of the Community Literacy Center of the College of Liberal Arts and the English Department's community engagement programming.

***Registration is suggested but it is optional. Drop-ins the day of are welcome!

Registration is recommended, but walk-ins are welcome if space is available. Register on this site, in person at any library, or by calling our Answer Center at 970-221-6740.
