The Fort Collins International Center presents International Night, focusing on a different country or region from around the world each session. Speakers are volunteers who wish to share their experiences with the Fort Collins community. More information is available through the Fort Collins International Center website.

Journey with Matías into Paraguay, a landlocked South American treasure where 70% of men were lost to war, yet its spirit endures. Nestled along pristine rivers, this youthful nation thrives on a vibrant culture of chipa and tereré-sipping rituals, despite battles with corruption and deforestation. Discover its challenges, its opportunities and promises, and why this rarely visited country deserves your next adventure.

Matías is a proud Paraguayan, he is a Systems Engineering graduate student at CSU, driven by using technology to transform society. He spends his free time practicing Jiu Jitsu and tennis. He is passionate about his homeland and misses it dearly and he is grateful for being able for being able to share its history. Matías invites you to discover his country with him in a lively, fun and interactive presentation that will spark your curiosity and urge you to visit hidden gem in your next vacation!
