Event Details
This session focuses on the ways humans naturally and often unconsciously "other" those who are different and separate people into "us" and "them." Examine the ways Americans are divided and the role media plays in exaggerating divides, then learn an alternative framework to reflect on how and with whom you engage.
Practice dialogue skills to communicate across differences in this four-part workshop series with CSU Faculty Elizabeth Sink. Attend any or all sessions.
A minimum of 15 registrants needed by February 6th to run this class.
Elizabeth Sink has a passion for facilitating healthy engagement across different identities. She has taught at Colorado State University since 2004 in Communication Studies, the KEY Communities and the University Honors Program. Through a Leadership Fellowship in 2021 she spearheaded and currently leads CSU’s Multifaith & Belief Initiatives.
