Program Description

Event Details

After a brief review of several of the practical communication skills we've explored in this series, engage in constructive dialogue about a contentious case study. After agreeing on ground rules, your small group will practice dialogue strategies such as active listening, clean questions, and somatic reflection. We'll close with a large group debrief as you prepare to carry forward useful civic engagement skills into your own circles.

Practice dialogue skills to communicate across differences in this four-part workshop series with CSU Faculty Elizabeth Sink. Attend any or all sessions.

A minimum of 15 registrants needed by May 8th to run this class.

Elizabeth Sink has a passion for facilitating healthy engagement across different identities. She has taught at Colorado State University since 2004 in Communication Studies, the KEY Communities and the University Honors Program. Through a Leadership Fellowship in 2021 she spearheaded and currently leads CSU’s Multifaith & Belief Initiatives.
